I have been following my goal of staying on track and doing my work. My tactic of keeping reminders and making sure I finish my work before sleeping has been working. I have also been making sure I finish my work before watching TV. Whether it takes 10 minutes or a few hours, I simply don’t allow myself to watch TV until all my work is finished and I’ve checked off every reminder. I think if I carry this on I will be very successful.
One of my goals were to keep track and stay organized and I’ve had a tough time doing so. I’ve had troubles and that caused me to fall behind (as well as SAISA) in my work and I’m doing everything I can to come back. I’m going to meet with teachers after school to catch up on work. Work at home and have a clear schedule of what my plan is.
One of my goals was to be more organized and I think that over the course of the past month, something has changed. I feel like I’m a lot more prepared and for the first time I feel very easy headed, I’m not thinking much about work because I’ve done it. Also, I eat a lot healthier and go to bed much earlier so I can concentrate a lot in class. Which helps me a lot outside of school as well. Comparing to my old self, I feel like I’m wasting a lot less time and also am more focused and I find some classes a lot easier to understand and concentrate on.
In this winter break, I have to challenge the boringness… because I usually stayed at Bombay at this winter break and I only stayed at my house because I was so lazy to go out to meet friend or do other after school sports, so when I was in my house I watched the TV drama that I wasn’t able to see during my test season. But I don’t stay at Bombay for whole winter break, I visited Udaipur it was really cold in early in the morning I think the temperature may be same as my Yatra spot. Udaipur was boring place for me, our family watched lot of old castles and other cultural which was not in my interest.
Unfortunately, this semester, I didn’t meet either of my goals. This was because of a couple of reasons, the first being I was adjusting to the new year and I wasn’t fully focusing on my work or the magazine until about a month before the end of school. However, by then I was so overloaded by past work that I didn’t have time for the magazine, and my older grades were bringing my average down. Hopefully, if I continue working at the pace I have for the past few weeks (which is basically socializing less, turning off my phone and Facebook, and doing my work the day its assigned rather than the night before its due), I will get to a better point by the mid semester.
